FAQs
Questions we often encounter.
What type of training does your horses have?
Specializing in ranch started geldings, we are dedicated to developing the ultimate 'All-Around' horse. Our program focuses on combining superior conformation and elite breeding with a calm disposition to produce safe, sound, and versatile partners. Trained in Ranch Riding, Versatility, Team Penning, and Sorting, each horse undergoes a rigorous desensitization process. From exposure to traffic and ATVs to mastering arena and round pen work, we ensure our horses are prepared for every challenge they might encounter in a busy family or barn environment.
Why does your ad say that a horse is in my state?
We advertise nationwide and have successfully sold horses to buyers in almost every state. To reach out-of-state buyers, we list our horses in multiple regions, otherwise, many people would never find us. We clearly state our actual location on our website and in our ads, and we make it a point to confirm this early in our conversations
So most of your customers come to Texas and try the horse?
While we always welcome visitors, only about 5% of our clients find it necessary to travel here to meet their horse in person. Because we stand behind our horses with a full guarantee and offer complimentary shipping to many locations, the majority of our customers feel confident purchasing directly through our detailed online process.
Do I need to make an appointment to come see your horse?
Absolutely! To ensure each client receives our undivided attention and each horse remains rested for serious inquiries, we require a 40% refundable deposit to schedule an appointment. This deposit serves to hold your chosen horse and is fully transferable should you find a better match once you arrive. In the unlikely event the horse is not a suitable fit for your needs, the deposit is fully refundable.
Will my kids be able to ride horses like your kids?
While we strive for the best possible match, it is important to remember that a horse’s performance is a partnership between two individuals. Every rider brings a unique level of experience, confidence, and personality to the saddle. Our videos demonstrate a horse’s capabilities under our handling, but as living beings, horses have their own 'off days' and require consistent, proper guidance. Just like any new relationship, there is a natural adjustment period as you learn your new partner's specific way of going. We are always here to offer advice or help you find a qualified local instructor to ensure your success. Because we know that not every horse and rider will be a perfect personality match, we proudly offer an exchange program to help you find the right fit.
I don’t have much experience on a horse, how will I be safe?
Safety is our primary objective. We strive to help our clients minimize the risks inherent in equine activities. While our horses are selected for their exceptional ground manners and calm dispositions, they are still large animals with instinctual behaviors. Success and safety in horse ownership depend heavily on the rider's responsibility. Simple errors such as improper leading, imbalanced riding, or standing in a horse’s blind spot can lead to accidents. By choosing to ride and own a horse, you acknowledge these inherent risks. While we do everything possible to prepare our horses, we cannot guarantee against natural reactions like bucking, biting, or kicking, which are driven by a horse's self-preservation. We encourage all our clients to continue their education to ensure a safe and rewarding partnership.
How long does it take to get the horse?
While we often achieve delivery within 4 to 5 days, we generally advise a one-week timeline depending on your location to ensure realistic expectations. We partner exclusively with professional haulers who prioritize safety and punctuality. Before your horse departs, we follow a rigorous preparation protocol: our veterinarian issues a certified health certificate, and we transition the horse to a private stall or paddock. To support their health during travel, we administer Probios and electrolytes and provide a thorough grooming. Once the horse is loaded, we will provide you with the driver’s contact information so you can track their journey home.
What if the horse doesn’t work for me?
We take great pride in carefully matching horse and rider. While rare, we recognize that new environments or social dynamics with other horses can occasionally change a horse's behavior. If challenges arise, we are here to help you work through them. However, if a match simply isn’t right within the first 30 days, we will either help you find a more suitable partner or provide a full refund upon the horse's return.
What's the next step?
Once you have selected your horse or pony, we will email you a Sales Agreement to sign and return. While we accept various forms of payment, the majority of our clients prefer bank wire transfers. Wires are as secure as a traditional check but significantly faster, allowing us to finalize the sale and schedule shipping immediately without waiting for out-of-state funds to clear. A formal receipt will be emailed to you as soon as payment is confirmed.
What does the term "bombproof" mean?
The term ‘bombproof’ has its roots in military history, describing horses that remained unfazed by the chaos of battle. Today, it represents a horse with a reliable, non-reactive nature. While we don't expect horses to be literal machines, we prioritize selecting and training horses that possess a naturally calm foundation. We focus on building their confidence so they know how to respond to new stimuli with composure. We are dedicated to safety, yet we always remind our clients that because horses are living beings, riding involves an inherent risk that we work tirelessly to manage.
What are the payment options?
All sales require payment in full prior to the horse’s departure. For your convenience, we accept Wire Transfers, Cash, and Cryptocurrency, as well as digital payments via Zelle, Cash App, and Chime. Please note that we do not offer internal financing at this time.
Do you accept a deposit to put a horse on hold?
To secure a horse, we require a 40% deposit. Please note that the horse remains on the market until the full deposit is received and a contract is signed. Once the remaining balance is paid in full, the contract will be finalized by both parties, and the sale will be complete.
What is your return policy?
We stand behind our horses with a 30-day, 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you find that your horse is not the right fit, we offer a full return policy within the first 30 days of purchase to ensure you have complete peace of mind.
Are you a horse broker?
We take pride in owning every horse we sell. This is a vital part of our process because it allows us to provide each individual with personalized care and professional training. Before any horse is listed on our website, we invest countless hours of riding and evaluation to ensure they meet our standards. Your safety is our priority, and by knowing our horses inside and out, we can guarantee a perfect match for our clients.
Do you offer transportation?
Based in Texas, we are proud to offer free shipping to select states across the USA. We also provide reliable worldwide shipping to ensure our horses can reach their new homes anywhere across the globe.
Trailer loading and unloading?
Our training includes extensive work with a 3-horse slant-load trailer. We prioritize safety and discipline, ensuring every horse learns to back out calmly and correctly rather than attempting to turn around inside.
